GoodStudy is an independent editorial site about education — schools, universities, study programs, admissions, scholarships, and the everyday business of being a student.
What we cover
- Schools. Honest looks at elementary, middle, and high schools — public, private, charter, and international.
- Universities. Profiles, rankings, campus life, and the policy changes that actually affect students.
- Study Programs. Degrees, majors, online courses, exchanges, bootcamps — what they cost, who they suit, and where they lead.
- Admissions. Essays, deadlines, test prep, recommendation letters, financial aid, and scholarships.
- Study Tips. Habits, productivity, mental health, and the small things that quietly make school easier.
Why GoodStudy exists
Most education advice is either a brochure dressed up as journalism or a forum thread written at 2 a.m. We wanted a place in between — researched, opinionated, and written like a friend who has been through the process and remembers exactly which parts are the worst.
How we work
Articles are written and edited by people who have studied at, applied to, or taught in the institutions we cover. We link to primary sources whenever we can. We update older posts when admissions rules, tuition, or program structures change. If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so at the bottom of the article.
Independence
GoodStudy is not affiliated with any school, university, or admissions consultancy. We do not accept payment for coverage. If we ever publish sponsored content or affiliate links, they will be clearly labeled.
